We at RSR appreciate knowing exactly how our food is raised, fed, harvested and/or made.

This to us is extremely valuable just for the piece of mind it provides. Nowadays you cannot trust grocery store product labels because they are very misleading. See our FAQ section to learn what the descriptions really mean, and how confusing they really are.

We at RSR Homestead have worked hard all year to provide quality, hormone free, naturally raised  products handmade the old fashioned way... from scratch.

We enjoy doing the morning farm chores, milking Meadow with our vintage 1929 surge bucket milker (sometimes by hand), watering the animals & collecting the days eggs really gives us a better sense of what it takes to have a fresh & natural food source and to be responsible for so many animals, plants and trees. 

Farming is difficult and meticulous, but in the end it is overwhelmingly rewarding

It has also made us see more clearly the beauty of Mother Nature. Just caring for our animals made us realize that nature sure is a delicate thing, and watching them grow, is just as rewarding as looking out over the farm and seeing how far it has come.

There are so many beautiful aspects to RSR homestead and yet so many more tasks for us to tackle and share with you.
